    Private Pilot License is a qualification that permits to act without remuneration as PIC or co-pilot on aeroplanes in non-commercial operations. PPL is the most common type of license in General Aviation.

    For future professional pilots, the Private Pilot License is also the first step in the aviation career.

    Course entry requirements

    Minimum age of 16 years to apply At least Class 2 medical certificate

    Helicopter specific:

    Control the helicopter by external visual reference. Take-offs, landings, hovering, look out turns and normal transitions from and to the hover. Emergency procedures, basic autorotation, simulated engine failure, leveling ground effect (ground resonance), if relevant to type Flight sideways and backwards, turning on the spot. Recognize and compensate for the resulting vortex ring Autorotation with touchdown simulated engine-off, practice forced landings. Simulated equipment malfunctions and emergency procedures relating to malfunctions of the engine, controls, electrical and hydraulic circuits. Sharp turns Transitions, quick stops, in the lee of maneuvers, takeoffs and landings on slopes. Flights with limited power and confined area operations including selection and flights to and from unprepared sites. Flights only by the basic flight instruments including completion bend in the horizon of 180 degrees and leveling unusual attitudes to simulate inadvertent entry into cloud (this training may be conducted by a flight instructor rating (FI (H)). Over flights using orientation, navigation calculations and, where available, radio navigation aids. Arrivals, departures and transiting controlled aerodromes, compliance with air traffic services procedures, communication procedures and phraseology.

    Module 2 - Theoretical preparation for flight training:

    All our trainees starting this flight training program have the opportunity to get a subsidized Electronic Flight Bag - iPad mini 4G + WiFi.

    Electronic Flight Bag used primarily for studying, as materials are sent wirelessly to the trainee’s iPad, and as an aid in the flight training, by using the electronic charts, POHs etc.

    Ground training

    Total instruction time given is 30 hours minimum and consists of two modules.
